Kodak announced at the Cebit 2009 its new Scan Station 500 networked scanning device for business users. The Scan Station 500 features a a 75 sheet feeder and a a daily duty cycle of 1,500 scans. It offers 200 dots per inch colour duplex scanning at up to 30 pages per minute.
Kodak’s new Scan Station has a 8-inch LCD touchscreen. It allows users to send scanned docuements multiple destinations simultaneously, including network drives, FTP sites, printers, email, fax and portable USB drives. A personalized voice message can also be sent with scanned images, thanks to the Voice Attachment function.
