Kodak announced at the Cebit 2009 its new Scan Station 500 networked scanning device for business users. The Scan Station 500 features a a 75 sheet feeder and a a daily duty cycle of 1,500 scans. It offers 200 dots per inch colour duplex scanning at up to 30 pages per minute.

Kodak’s new Scan Station has a 8-inch LCD touchscreen. It allows users to send scanned docuements multiple destinations simultaneously, including network drives, FTP sites, printers, email, fax and portable USB drives. A personalized voice message can also be sent with scanned images, thanks to the Voice Attachment function.

Asus presents the P30 and P80 business notebook PCs at the Cebit 2009. Both laptops has outstanding power efficiency offering over 12 hours of battery life. They feature the HDD ShockShield Protection, AI Pre-Boot Finger Logon for better security, AI Secure Delete function and Anti-theft technology.
The P30 is a ultraportable laptop with less than 1-inch in thickness and 3.3lbs in weight while the P80 will come with a Hot-Swap Module Bay. Specs have not been mentions.
Asus P30 and P80 will only available in Taiwan, China, Germany, Italy, France, Australia, and New Zealand markets.

Dell has unveiled the 22-inch SX2210 LCD screen on the company’s site. The monitor offers 1080p resolution, a 2.0MP embedded webcam, 1000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2 millesecond response time, 160 degrees horizontal / 170 degrees vertical viewing angles, and 300 cd/m² brightness. There is no word on pricing or availability. It is estimated to be released on March 19th. Stay tuned for more details

LG and Verizon Wireless have joined to release the new LG Versa on March 1st, 2009. The Versa comes with a 3-inch touchscreen display and a QWERTY keyboard for everybody who doesn’t like typing on a touchscreen. There are also a 2.0MP shooter with face detection, microSD card slot (up to 16GB extra memory), a 2.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, EV-DO Rev. A, Flash support for the full HTML browser and a built-in accelerometer. This smartphone is also compatible with Verizon’s Mobile Broadband Connect, which allows you to use your phone as a modem when connected to a laptop. Sadly, the Mobile Broadband Connect costs $60 / month and is limited to just 5GB. The LG Versa will be available from Verizon for $199 with a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.

TG Sambo today rolled out the Averatec Star, a 13.1-inch wide notebook PC in South Korea in order to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Averatec brand. Weighing 1.7Kg and measuring 1cm thick, the laptop comes in aluminum finish with silver color. It is powered by an Intel Centrino 2 processor with 3GB RAM and 320GB HDD.

LG comes back with three new LCD monitors in the form of the 22 Inch W2253V-PF, 24 Inch W2453V-PF, and 27 Inch W2753V-PF. These Full HD 1920×1080p LCDs come equipped with a contract ratio of 1000:1 to 50000:1, Digital Fine Contrast, a brightness level of 300cd/m2 for the 22 Inch model and 400cd/m2 for both the 22 Inch and 27 Inch. Pricing info is still unavailable. All of these LCD screens support DVI-D HDCP, D-SUB, and HDMI port.

TRENDnet has announced the availability of its new 300Mbps Dual Band Wireless N USB Adapter, model TEW-664UB. It enables users to network their computer to a wireless network using either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio frequency. The device also uses an advanced wireless encryption to protect data communication and the latest in MIMO attenna technology to ensure the fastest communication speeds that wireless n technology provides. The TEW-664UB supports Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems and retails for $60.

The main advantage of Samsung GT-S3500 Slider is a shell, the front panel which is made of stainless steel. It makes the phone more durable and scratch resistance. Measuring only 13.9 mm thick, this slider supports quad-band EDGE, FM radio with RDS, a 2MP camera, and a 2.2-inch display. Other features include Bluetooth capability. The Samsung GT-S3500 Slider is priced at around $200 in Russia.

Nokia has decided to give new color for the Nokia’s E55 that was released last week. This handset is now available in black, white, and a new red color. This ultra thin smartphone is touted as “the world’s most compact messaging device”. It runs on Symbian S60 3.2 Edition and features Wi-Fi, a 2.4 inch QVGA display with 16 million colors, digital compass, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 3.2MP autofocus camera. It also packs a 1500 mAh battery that provides up to 8 hours of talk-time or up to 30 days of stand-by time. This red model will retail for €265.
