Samsung introduces the new NP-Q1EX-71G UMPC, the newest member of Samsung’s Q1 series. Instead of the popular Atom processor, Samsung’s NP-Q1EX-71G is powered by VIA’s Nano ULV U2500 1.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, VIA Chrome9 HC HD-capable graphic chipset and 60GB hard drive.
The compact Samsung NP-Q1EX-71G offers WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. You can also expect built-in SiRF GPS chipset, a SD card slot and a webcam. With a 4-cell 4,000mAh lithium ion battery, Samsung’s Q1EX-71G has up to 4.5 hours of battery life.
Samsung’s new UMPC measures just 8.96″ x 0.9″ x 4.92″ and weighs 1.43lbs. It runs Windows XP Tablet Edition.
