Other than the 7.1-channel Blu-ray systems, Sony presents the HT-SS360 component Blu-ray home theater system. The 5.1-channel HT-SS360 comes with a a component A/V receiver offering 1000-watt of power and three HDMI inputs. It supports HD1080/24p and 60p video, and LCPM audio output. Like Sony’s other home theater systems, the HT-SS360 includes Digital Media Port, DMPort Booster technology, and BRAVIA Sync.
At the same time, Sony brings the new HT-CT500 home theater sound bar that comes in two pieces, a sound bar and subwoofer. Sony HT-CT500 is a 3.1-channel system with 400-watt output power and a fully functional A/V receiver built into the subwoofer. It has three HDMI inputs and is S-AIR ready.
Sony HT-SS360 Blu-ray system and T-CT500 sound bar are priced at $350 and $500 respectively.
