You seldom see a company leaking its own product but apparently this happened with Sony recently on its Russian site. The site leaked three new DSLRs briefly – Alpha 230, 330 and 380 before taking it down.
Those few minutes were actually enough for some as they managed to note the intrinsic details of the cameras. The price of the cameras is unknown but A230 will be a part of the entry level market, A330 sitting in between while A380 will take the top-end slot.
The DSLRs will feature HDMI-out for easy and quick viewing on HDTVs but sadly, won’t do any HD resolution recording. Other features the cameras will boast are APS-C sensor, Bionz imaging processor, dual-dust reduction system and a teleconverter to magnify images by 1.4x to 2.0x on camera’s LCD. One of the cameras will also have two types of storage card.
